Luscious, luscious food

A normal person would be able to quantify their depression by the fact they consumed an entire package of Oreos (with nary their partner's help) in two days. I wish I had that excuse.

I love food. Bad food. Good-for-you food. All of it.

Hence the new layout! Thanks, Blogger. You really treat a tech-adverse girl well.

  1. I'm a big food lover too and I love to cook and try new recipes. I just came across this great recipe for Homemade Oreos the other day! I haven't tried the recipe out yet but if your a food lover like me I'm sure you wouldn't mind having the recipe. Here is the link
    They look sooo delish!

  2. Yeah, the toughest thing about a Colitis diagnosis... limiting the foods you eat. I'd never realized just how much food meant to me.

Snickers bars, Peanut M&Ms, corn on the cob... delicious.

  3. Holla!

First: I am LOVING the new layout!
Second: It kinda makes me sad when I think about all the time I've missed by not having you as my co-worker foodie buddy, but NOW I've found you and I cannot wait for lunchtime :)

    You're swell :)

  4. Vicky,
I'm going to demand my husband make these for me, and color them with springy pastels for the filling: it will be a vision of butter yellow, mint greens, and lavender...and by "demand" I mean beg. Thanks for pointing those out!!

I agree - food it such an instrinsic aspect of me life (well, we eat to survive). But the whole culture of food. The joy of food. I'm fortunate (knock on the proverbial wood) I can still continue to eat most things, even with the Crohn's (because a world with Peanut M&M's is not a place I want to be, gosh darnit!).

Because I am a woman of crooked morals, the only way to be my friend is to constantly compliment me and sing my praises. You're doing a good job!
